SKIN DEEP Behind the Mask (SDMB) is a non profit making organisation, Which has been set up to help educate and raise awareness of the difficulties and obstacles faced by skin disease patients and their families as well as to help provide support and better understanding of skin disease.
There is more to ''skin'' that meets the eye. Explore and look beyond the surface and you will uncover the true beauty which lies within... set yourself free from invisible chains and unleash the magnitude of your true amazing self.
Adults and children with skin disease suffer everyday, both physically and psychologically.
Skin disease brings misery to their lives and puts strain on their families. Around 4,000 skin disease sufferers will die as a result of their condition.
Skin condition are very over shadowed it's hardly ever spoken about, A grater voice needs to be given to those less-publicized conditions, To let people know their NOT alone.
The goal.... To educate and raise awareness of the difficulties & obstacles faced by skin patients and their families.
